4 KEYS TO COLLEGE ADMISSIONS SUCCESS REVIEWS / TESTIMONIALS:
Wow! What a great read! I currently have a high school Senior who is almost finished with the college process and still got some good pointers. My family didn’t start working on college preparation until 11th grade. I would recommend this book to any parent who have younger children, definitely before getting into high school or at the latest ninth grade. There are so many great ideas in this book. Pamela and her staff at Valley Prep Tutoring in Los Angeles helped us, and they will help you too. Just open your minds and

As a school counselor I plan to recommend this book to every parent at my school, especially those where the child will be the first in the family to attend college. I enjoyed this book because it flowed more like a comfortable conversation with a friend who is giving real advice about things they’ve encountered in their own college application process with their child … there is so much information that Pamela shares which is extremely useful.
Wow, what an informative and practical resource for anyone to read! And when I say, anyone, I don’t just mean those of us with a child in high school preparing for college. As a high school guidance counselor, I was just planning to casually read this book so I could gain some additional insights into the college admissions field. However, the contents are so engaging, logical, and relevant, I have had a difficult time putting it down! The author has truly impressed me – not only with her knowledge about what students should be doing to best prepare for their post high school years, but also on ways they can think and learn in a more self actualizing way.
As I read this book my oldest son is a high school sophomore and I realize that I am completely unprepared for his college admissions process. This book helped me focus not only on what we need to do immediately for him, but also what we can do now for his two brothers, who are middle and elementary school students. Thanks, Pamela Donnelly, for showing us it’s never too late — or too early — to start the process!
I am a mom with 2 daughters. I wish I had Pamela Donnelly’s book when my first daughter was looking into Colleges. Now that I am in the home stretch with my last daughter, a Junior in High School, this book is comprehensive, thoughtful, a great read and very informative. This book is perfect for both the student and the parent looking to make important choices for their future. 4 Keys to College Admissions has simplified our process of finding a college for my daughter. Thank you Pamela!

SWAT TEAM TACTICS REVIEWS / TESTIMONIALS:
An excellent book written by an excellent educator
Kudos, Ms. Donnelly, on your fine book “SWAT Team Tactics. . . ” As a teacher of gifted seniors for 20 years, I have seen first hand the stress that college applications brings to even the most academically talented of our young people. Your book is a must read not just for students and their parents, but for school counselors and high school teachers. as well. It’s difficult to know where to bestow my praise for Swat Team’s contents first, as everything in it is valuable. But the chapter titled “Middle School Counts” made me smile. I spent two years trying to convince my own son of this, and kept wishing as I read that I had had your book when I was trying to do so!
For Parents and Teens – College Preparation Process made Simple
Pamela Donnelly’s book served as my guiding light to help my teen and myself as a parent to learn about the college preparation process. I have done my education from India so I have no clue how it all works here. As I was just getting curious to explore on this topic, Pamela Donnelly’s book came as a blessing. The author has explained it in simple language and I am glad I read it when my daughter is in 8th grade so it is perfect time to have this information. I highly recommend this book to all parents so they too can help and guide their teen into college preparation process early on.

Pamela Donnelly tells it like it is. Getting your kid into the college of his or her choice is no easy feat, but she helps guide you through the process in a way that is simple and straight forward. The chapter on “Best Online Sources” offering free tutorials alone is worth 100 times the price of the “SWAT Team Tactics” download. “ACT or SAT? Picking the Right Test” was particularly helpful. Pamela clearly explains the pros and cons of each test and recommends strategies that really paid off for us. I am absolutely thrilled to say my daughter scored a 34 in English and 35 in Reading on the ACT and a 710 in Writing and 760 on Reading on the SAT, and she was accepted Early Action to her top choice school with a hefty scholarship. Especially if you are just starting the college process, this is a must read.
